Maria meets Jessie from Dubai

Jessie is a pure white dog that  looks very like a Podengo.  She was recued from Dubai, where she was found living as a street dog. The owner thought that she might be a Pariah dog, the Podengo relative found in India.  But to me she looked more like a Podengo.  About the same size as Maria, she enjoyed playing with her.  Unlike Maria she did no have any fawn on her coat and if there was a white tip to the tail you could not see it.  The Podengo developed from the pale=footed wolf in the area near Arabia, before the Romans and Phoenicians took them to Portugal and
Spain.
