I have a BS degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, a MS in Educational Leadership and Specialist in K-12 Principal and Special Education Director. I currently am the Autism Resource Specialist for a large suburban school district.
Much of my work career however has been Government (Congressional Aide, and Governor Staff) and public policy specifically in Health Care, Senior Citizens Issues, Education and the Private sector as a Marketing Director, and Division Manager in both Health Care and Mortgage Banking.
I founded the first Non- Metro Chapter of MADD in the country, and have served on several Boards including Hearing and Service Dogs of Minnesota, Hubert H. Humphrey Museum and Learning Center.
I have been in purebred dogs (Basenjis) since 1982 and Bloodhounds early 90's. I am an AKC judge of 4 hound breeds and Jr Showmanship and have sent in my application for 4 more.
I am an officer in my Kennel Club. I have been interested in Podengos and did a lot of research before importing Hanna the Grande Smooth - Now I spend my summer cleaning poop from a lot of Grande Puppies!
I am a type A hyper focused on AKC recognition for this great breed. as well. I have a warped sense of humor and Sarcasm is another service I provide - I also can't spell for S--t.
