Hi,
And greetings from Finland Though not from the States, I decided to 'reach out' and familiarize myself with other places that have something and anything to do with podengos.
At the moment my pack consists of four podengos, all of which are male. Three are pequenos, and the youngest is a medio; all of them should be wirehaired, though one decided to be a bit different and stayed smooth. Consecutive ages are 5yrs, 3,5yrs, 1,5yrs and 4months. We live in the capital area of Finland.
Our "podengo-orientated" hobbies include dog shows (one of my pequenos is already an international champion ) and lure-coursing, which we started only last summer. The two youngest are still developing, but boy do they have the energy to do everything.. That's probably one of the reasons why the breed is such a great one, always ready to go with the same bouncy step and wagging tail
