Hanna has decided now that the puppies are old enough for 'supervised visitation' of the other dogs. It's interesting to watch as she creates a trotting perimitor between the other dogs and the babies.
She is not chaseing them away as previously but allow some 'visit' under her watchful gaze.
I should mention that the puppies are inside a different fence and her and other dogs are in the main yard that contains the x-pen. Earlier she would attack to keep them away about 10 feet. Then it was a bit closer - now they can approach the fence (although what basenji in their right mind would want to be next to that many screeching babies is beyond me)
Have any of you noticed this kind of behavior in your podengo moms?
